Third Thursday Lunchtime Lectures

TN-ASPA offers a variety of informative and networking professional development activities throughout the year.  From September to April, Our “Third Thursday” Lunchtime Lectures series provides opportunities to hear from local and regional speakers on topics of interest to public and nonprofit administrators.

We hope you will join us for some of these events – learn more about the lectures and symposium, and check our calendar for upcoming opportunities.  If you would like to serve as a speaker or have an idea for an interesting topic, please contact a member of the Executive Council.  Thank you!

Annual Symposium

TN-ASPA hosts an annual symposium on an emerging public issue. This year our symposium is "Social Equity: Closing the Gap through Technology and Open Data" and will be held May 9, 2017.

Networking Events

TN-ASPA hosts networking events ranging from Public Service Recognition Week breakfasts, lunch meet and greets, and after-work socials.These are opportunities to network with your fellow public service professionals and students across disciplines.
